Traction Man to the Rescue!

Traction Man meets Turbo Dog is proving to be very popular this Spring term!

Ahlberg and Dahl Class are enjoying exploring materials this term. So far the children have made the character Turbo Dog out of junk modelling. They investigated the materials they designed and adapted their models. They tested their ideas and worked well in pairs. They later painted their models, making sure they remembered to put PVA glue in the paint to ensure it would stick to the plastic.

Prickly Hay Prickly Hay they laid him in some Prickly Hay in a Manger far away in some Prickly Hay.

A great time was had by all of the children in both Ahlberg and Dahl Class performing their Christmas play  three times for the parents, grandparents and the whole school. Their singing was beautiful and the acting was amazing too!

Reception Reindeers!

Reception Children had fun creating their  ‘Lollypop Reindeers’ for the Christmas Fair. They drew their faces and antlers, adding a touch of sparkle by putting on glitter! The children particularly enjoyed buying their own Reindeer from the stall and eating the Reindeer’s nose! The reindeers which didn’t sell were donated to the village fair on Saturday to be sold. We have enterprising young children in Ahlberg Class!
